Plascon Auto Body Filler - 1KG

Plascon Auto Body Filler is a polyester based Auto body repair paste with easy filing, spreading and sanding properties. It adheres very well on mild steel and well sanded galvanized sheets, with minimal pin-holing. It does not shrink or crack.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Remove loose rust and damaged or flaked paint to ensure surface is free of grease and dirt. Score surface with file to ensure maximum adhesion.

MIXING RATIO: Filler: Hardener = 97:3 (by weight)

APPLICATION: Take desired quantity of filler for the job in hand and mix with hardener as per mixing ratio than using a spreading action to avoid air entrapment. Apply mixture immediately to work surface, using a plastic spreader. 15-20 minutes after application, the filler can be filed then hand sanded/machine sanded. 

GEL TIME: After mixing with hardener, the filler cures within 2-5 minutes depending on room temperature and quantity of hardener added. NB. Do not mix more filler than what can be used within this period as this will harden and rendered useless.

SPREADING CAPACITY: Dependent on nature of work being done.
